Sjaelegaard is a picturesque and charming farm nestled on a vast expanse of land, featuring lush grasslands, meadows, oak forests, serene lakes and even an old granite quarry. We proudly present two newly renovated holiday homes housed in a charming half-timbered building with a distinctive red tile roof. The renovation has been carried out with meticulous attention to detail, preserving the original structure and incorporating fine materials like Italian tiles, oak floors, paned windows, and panel doors.
Each of our fully equipped properties comfortably accommodates 4-5 guests and boasts modern amenities, including a bathroom with a shower, a well-appointed kitchen complete with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, stove, multi-functional oven, exhaust hood, and coffee machine. The open living space provides ample room for relaxation, and three bedrooms ensure a restful night's sleep. Outside, you'll find a private outdoor area with a table, chairs, and barbecue facilities, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco.
Feel free to unwind in our expansive, enchanting garden, complete with a wood-fired hot tub. It's the idyllic spot to spend summer or winter evenings under the shimmering stars, creating lasting memories with loved ones.
Our commitment to fostering abundant wildlife is evident with our grazing Galloway cattle and Shetland ponies, enhancing the biodiversity of the land. Delight in the harmonious melodies of rare birds, the flutter of butterflies, and the gentle hum of bees.
Your hosts reside in a separate building on the premises and are readily available to provide helpful advice, local tips, and any assistance you may require during your stay.

Having previously owned a meeting and event venue in Copenhagen, I bring with me valuable experience in hosting. However, our relocation to Sjaelegaard was driven by a desire to realize a vision for a space where guests can retreat, unwind, and even hold business meetings or events.
My family and I share a strong passion for nature and biodiversity, and we are committed to preserving the rich natural heritage of our property while also expanding and developing it further. We believe in the importance of protecting and nurturing the environment we are fortunate to be a part of.
