The proprietress was simply wonderful, She was very communicative and had lovely treats for our arrival. She had lovely art pieces of her own throughout the apartment. We later found her art exhibited in a local museum. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Arad itself is nothing special, but it’s a fine town with all the necessary resources (groceries, gas, restaurants, etc.). Location is its strength. An hour or less by car to Ein Gedi, the Dead Sea, S’dom, Beit Guvrin, Mamshit, and many more historical and natural wonders. Make it your jumping off point to enjoy the northern Negev.

A small town with a great connection to Jerusalem and Mesada. Even on Sabbath you find a nice bar and Supermarkets open in walking distance from our accomodation. Its great for a short stay to visit Mesada (we went to west-side entrance) and to take a day trip to Dead Sea. From Arad you can either go back north or continue to south.. however, after two nights you find that Arad itself doesnt offer much more to discover..

Arad is 30 minutes from the DEAD SEA Beach and a lot of Israeli national hiking routes. (Massada, Nahal Arugot, NAhal of King David) . The prices at Arad about 1/4 of the DEAD SEA area. So just rent a car. :)

Clean very pleasant town.
Clean very pleasant town. Balanced, not too busy but not too quiet. Plenty shops, malls eateries etc. Absolutely beautiful walks and viewpoints basically in the town. Would very highly recommend for a young family looking to hike a bit and chill.
Bashiri's place was wonderful - clean and modern with a very comfortable bed and a great jacuzzi. Some places say they have jacuzzis but this was the real thing. Nice and warm and so relaxing. There were even robes provided! The shower was easy to use and large. The small garden area was cute and private. The gates to the property were upscale and there was even a private parking spot. This area of Arad seems upscale, with new building on the street. I wish we had been able to stay longer - hopefully next time.
The place is beautiful! We had an excellent experience. The Yurt is amazing. Well designed and cozy. Great balcony. Comfortable bed. Sweet little kitchenette. Shower is amazing with good water pressure. Lovely yard, with herbs to make great tea, and great view to the desert. The hosts were very kind and generous, made us feel super comfortable. And Arad, the city, is awesome. Also there's a great pizza place up the street (with amazing vegan options!) Perfect place for a vacation. Would definitely come back.
We came for 1 night after a night partying in the desert. The host Dana was amazing, did everything to ensure our stay will be perfect. The vila itself is brand new, suprisingly big, the beds are super comfortable we slept 12 hours. The large jacuzzi with the desert view is defenitly one of the place's highlights. Dana prepares the most perfect brakefests very reach and tasty. Overall, one of the best places we slept in Israel. Totaly worth it. Will defintley come back again.
Bedouin-style encampment village surrounded by palm trees, a real desert oasis. Unfortunately, we were there when the war broke out in Israel but they offered us to stay as long as we needed with no extra cost so we could keep safe. They invited us for a bonfire, to walk around, and to drink some beers so we felt relaxed and at home. We can't thank Kfar Hanokdim enough for everything they did for us. We made really good friends and I hope to be back soon. תודה רבה.
The property is located on the edge of Arad, with a spectacular views towards the desert and the Dead Sea valley. Room was clean and comfy. Gill was always available and helpful. He offered many interesting options for us to explore the beautiful desert. We had a lot of fun during a half day desert tour with Gill. We also enjoyed food in the town very much. Nearby Muza restaurant - higly recommended.
The location is on a nice side street in Arad - close to everything, but far enough away to provide beautiful views of the desert. The room itself is a little tight space-wise, but the porch more than makes up for it. It is definitely a romantic spot and we spent our evenings on the swing looking out at the desert and in the mornings we had breakfast. We definitely hope to stay there again.
We absolutely loved our stay at Desert Call. The location was perfect for exploring various trails and sites (including the Dead Sea, Masada, and Tel Arad).
The view was gorgeous, the room was sparkling clean and well-stocked, the homemade breakfast we had each morning was delicious and plentiful and our hostess was kind and helpful.
We highly recommend staying here!
We were given a very warm welcome by Nicole. There were no other guests so we had the place to ourselves which felt like a luxury. It's more like a beautifully done up guesthouse than a hotel. We loved the views and the garden. It was a very good location to explore En Gedi, Masada and the dead sea. Would definitely recommend it.
Apartment is situated on the edge of Arad in private house.
It was very quite and comfortable to spend a night there.
But most of all it was amazing to meet such lovely host as Rachel.
It was like visiting own grandma. She took care of us, feed us with healthy food and told us about her life and positive thinking.
Best accomodatio in israel (out of 6 we have stayed).the accommodation jn the tend was great!
A romantic, clean, modern with a stunning view. The room has own cooking corner and all services. The owner was very kind and perfect. Also she helped out with a problem with the car. We strongly recommended
Hi Liran, we'd like to express our gratitude for the lovely weekend in your apartment in Arad. It was a great opportunity for us to rest and enjoy a lovely place in the middle of the desert.
The apartment is really convenient and well equipt.
Thanks a million. Highly recommended. Hila & Milli
The place is very close to Arad bus station. We took a little stop here to travel to the Dead Sea and Masada by bus. The place is very clean and nice and equipped with basic kitchen utensils. There's also outdoor space where you can hang beach wears.
The place was clean and nice. Kitchen well equipped. Good wifi. It's a good place to stay by the Dead Sea and to travel around.
Great value to money.
Keep in mind it's Arad so it about half an hour from the sea.
It’s a nice location if you want to use it as base for hiking trips to the Masada, the Dead Sea, Ein Gedi areas. Arad has a beautiful lookout point into the dessert, which is highly recommended
Fully renovated hotel, the staff is super friendly and helpful.
Nathan and Hila were very responsive and respectful.
The view do the desert and dead sea is amazing
Highly recommended.
